Coconut Macaroon Birds Nest Cookies

Festive Coconut Macaroons
Similar to the Birds Nest Cupcakes I have made in the past, these extremely tasty and tender macaroon cookies are a perfect Springtime party treat… and so easy to make. The dough is so quick to whip together, a very very easy project and one you can do with kids because there is no raw egg in the batter. This recipe made me about 1 1/2 dozen cookies… really it should have produced more, but the dough tasted so good!!!

Spectacular Spiderman Spring Pea Soup

Spectacular Spider Spring Pea Soup
I always thought pea soup smelled, and looked delicious, but the truth is I have never tasted any that I actually liked. However, it’s been so long since I tried some, so I decided to make this minty pea spring soup for my family. But its for the greater good. Besides, with great power comes great responsibility. Decorating… my superpower.

Braided Easter Egg Bread

Braided Easter Egg Bread

A festive, pretty and delicious Easter bread! Bring one of these to your church potluck or to serve with Easter brunch to add some interest to your table! It was an easy bread to assemble and dying the eggs was a fun project to do with my son on this rainy day. The bread was slightly sweet, light and airy, with a hint of lemon… a very tasty bread that goes with everything. I recommend serving with whipped honey butter or cheese and fruit salad.
