So if you are looking for a fun activity to do with your little one, whip up a batch of home made play dough, find some safe tools and accessories your toddler can use (rolling pin, spoons, cookie cutters, kid scissors, sticks, flowers, leaves), and you will be ready to play in minutes.

Making play dough was surprisingly easy to do, you probably have the ingredients in your pantry already.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 Tbsp cream of tartar
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • Food coloring

Mix all ingredients together in a skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture clumps. Done! Can be stored in an airtight container for 2 -3 weeks.
